Activity Days for Schools
and Youth Groups

Days to remember forever...

The Nancy Blackett Trust is a registered charity that sails and preserves the 90 year old wooden sailing yacht that was owned by the famous children's author, Arthur Ransome. The Trust has organised many activity days for young people over the years which provide a unique blend of education, literature, adventure activities, music and learning for children between 9 and 14 years old.

Nancy Blackett is based at Woolverstone Marina on the River Orwell and the activity days take place partly on Nancy herself but also outside and in a classroom with beautiful views of the estuary, its boats and its wildlife.
